Sarah’s Story

"Through the process I was made to feel more confident about myself and my abilities to achieve the things I wanted"Sarah | East Riding

In the Begining

I wasn’t doing much when I began working with Working for Health. I think I was still volunteering with a children’s charity at this point but my life felt stale and I was struggling with finding work and feeling confident in myself to do so.

How we helped you

Through the process, I was made to feel more confident about myself and my abilities to achieve the things I wanted such as getting a part-time job and applying for a course at University.

The Future

I am now about to leave my part-time job as I am going to start a full-time course studying Psychology at the University of Sheffield. I will however help out as a volunteer still from time to time. I hope to achieve my degree and work at some point within the mental health sector.
