In Selby & York, The Rise2Thrive Trailblazer programme provides you with your own Employment Specialist. Together we’ll identify your hopes, explore any barriers you have and find ways to overcome them so that you can get where you want to be.
Rise2Thrive Trailblazer
Rise2Thrive Trailblazer is a York and North Yorkshire employability support programme led by Better Connect and delivered by Working for Health alongside a network of specialist voluntary and community sector partners.
How do Rise2Thrive Trailblazer work?
Through the programmes, individuals receive tailored one to one support and mentoring, plus access to specialist intervention providers to build confidence, improve health and wellbeing, develop skills and overcome the barriers that are stopping them from thriving in life and work.
Who is eligible to take part in the project?
Someone is eligible to receive support if they are legally resident in the UK with a North Yorkshire postcode, and they are economically inactive.
The project has a particular focus on supporting 18-24 year olds, 50+, people experiencing long term health conditions, and those living in rural or costal communities.
